Today marks a historic milestone as Holistic Wellness Initiative South Sudan (HWISS) officially launches its operations across South Sudan. This moment represents the culmination of months of planning, community engagement, and partnership building.
Our Mission Begins
HWISS emerges as a response to the urgent need for integrated wellness services in South Sudan's most vulnerable communities. Our approach combines healthcare, environmental sustainability, and social support into a comprehensive framework that addresses the root causes of community challenges.
Key Launch Activities
- Registration Completion: HWISS is now officially registered with the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC)
- Team Assembly: Our founding team brings together expertise in public health, rehabilitation, social work, and environmental justice
- Community Partnerships: Initial partnerships established with local health centers and community organizations
- Program Preparation: Mobile clinic units prepared and community health worker training curricula finalized
